Recently, we photographed Lyndee McQuarrie, Owner and Principal Designer of McQ & Co. Interior Design, during one of our Signature Headshot Sessions inside a stunning downtown Richmond home she had just completed. After being featured in The Scout Guide and wrapping up one of her latest design projects, Lyndee needed updated headshots that felt polished, elevated, and true to where she wanted her brand to be.

There could not have been a more fitting location for Lyndee’s headshot session than a home she personally designed.
Every room reflected her signature style, creating a backdrop that felt authentic to both her business and personal brand. Instead of relying on a studio setting, we used the home’s architecture, textures, and natural light to create portraits that felt editorial while still approachable.
We also have to talk about Lyndee’s wardrobe. Her bold floral suit was the perfect choice for this session. It brought personality to the images while complementing the rich tones and sophisticated design of the home.
